Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about planning parties, organising guest lists, sending invites, tracking RSVPs, credits and exports with PartyLists.

PartyLists is a party planning and event guest list app. It helps you create an event, organise guests, send invitations, collect RSVPs, record notes such as dietary requirements, and export your guest list when you need it.

Yes. PartyLists works well for kids parties because you can keep parent contact details, child names, RSVP status, dietary notes, accessibility notes and guest tags in one organised event guest list.

No. PartyLists is useful for birthday parties, children’s parties, weddings, baby showers, engagements, launch parties, school events, fundraisers, club nights, community events and private hosted events.

You create an event, add guests individually or in bulk, and PartyLists keeps each guest linked to that event. You can track names, contact details, RSVP status, guest tags, plus-ones, notes and invite actions from the event dashboard.

Yes. Each guest can receive an invite link and respond online. Their RSVP is stored against the event so you can quickly see who is attending, who declined, who might attend, and who has not replied yet.

Yes. PartyLists supports RSVP details such as dietary requirements, accessibility requirements and extra notes, helping you plan food, seating, venue access and other practical event details.

Yes. Events can ask guests about additional guests where that makes sense. This is useful for family parties, weddings, community events and other events where people may attend in groups.

Yes. You can choose whether the online invite shows how many guests have already confirmed, so private or smaller events can keep that information hidden.

Yes. PartyLists supports digital invite links and email invites. If a valid UK mobile number is added, the system can send an SMS invite when the guest is first invited.

SMS messages have a direct sending cost, so PartyLists sends one SMS per invited guest. You can still send email invites and share the guest’s invite link again if you need to remind someone.

Yes. PartyLists includes a printable invite template builder. You can customise text, colours, fonts, layouts and backgrounds, then generate printable invitation PDFs using event and guest details.

Yes. Guest lists can be exported as spreadsheet files or PDFs. This is helpful for venues, event staff, check-in lists, printed records and planning away from the dashboard.

Credits are used to create events. Each event costs one credit. New users receive a free credit when they register, so they can create their first event before buying more credits.

No subscription is required to try PartyLists. The standard workflow uses event credits, so you can buy more only when you need to create additional events.

If an event has been created but nobody has been invited yet, contact us and we may be able to return the event credit to your account. Once guests have been invited, the event credit cannot usually be refunded. Credit purchases are final.

Yes. PartyLists can help with school events, PTA events, fundraisers, clubs and community gatherings where organisers need clear guest lists, RSVP tracking and exports without a heavy enterprise system.

Yes. Event owners can invite another PartyLists account to help manage an event, which is useful when more than one person is helping with guest list admin.

Your event dashboard is private to authorised accounts. Guest invite pages are accessed through invite links, so only share invite links with the people who should see them.

Guests see the online invitation details you provide, such as event name, date, time, venue, description and RSVP form. They do not get access to your full management dashboard.

You can contact PartyLists through the contact page or email hello@partylists.co.uk with questions about your account, credits, invites or event setup.
